Cailin Barrett-Bressack is a Brooklyn-based author whose writing uses speculative, absurd, and humorous elements to tell the stories of complicated women and highlight the beauty in everyday life. She also particularly loves writing about animals and nature.

Her work has previously been published in the Louisville Review, Necessary Fiction, and the Blue Monday Review, among others. She has a BFA in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College.

When not writing, she enjoys going to beginner boxing classes, playing overly complicated DND characters, and exploring New York City with her partner and their chihuahua/dachshund mix, Donna Summer.
